New Adventures

Every now and again, doing something new is good for the spirit. So is returning to something old. This idea of Greg The Psalmwriter is a little bit of both. The photo above is from one of the orginal Psalmwriter events hosted by my dear friend Jimmy Ellison when he was the preacher at Atlanta First Methodist. What a night it was! Psalmwriters was a fresh idea of writing songs and telling stories for God in the Nashville method of songwriters in the round. It's taken on various forms over the last 15 years, but the heart of the idea has been the same.....simply brings songs to life with stories of why they matter. So now that the events have faded, it's time for something new for this old friend. It's time to put MY songs out there for purposes that only God can know and design. Writers write. In my home are countless songs that over the years God has placed in my heart. Some of these songs were written in times of great joy and others in times of great sorrow. This website has been created to gives these songs, memories actually, a place to breath. There are no copyright laws here, use as you willl. These are not my songs, even the secular ones. They are God's. To Him be the glory.
